Who are you and what do you do?

My background in politics played a big role in this song. I went through some challenging moments, but I was able to learn from them and turn those experiences into lessons. This song reflects that journey, showing how difficult situations can inspire creativity and personal growth.

How does your background play into this song?

Answer:

I’m Jose Luis, a singer-songwriter from Huacho, Peru. I write my own songs, and I use technology and AI tools to help with music production, allowing me to bring my ideas to life while keeping the creative control myself.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?

Answer:

My earliest memory of listening to music is from my childhood, when my dad introduced me to Los Pachas and their song 'Por un mundo nuevo.' I also have distant memories of us playing the cajón and guitar together, sharing those moments and discovering music as a way to connect and express ourselves
