Who are you and what do you do?

DANY AEPRL is an experimental solo project which draws inspiration from the pulsating rhythms of electronic innovators such as Daft Punk and Underworld in combination with the emotional intensity and melodic tunes of the 2000s pop punk & emo era.

The project explores blending digital drum & bass with versatile guitars melodies & analog synthesizers creating sound landscapes that feel both nostalgic and futuristic. Merging seemingly opposite styles, DANY AEPRL aims to uncover the sweet spot where polished grooves of electronic dance music meet punk rock’s raw intensity and post-hardcore diversity. Lyrically, the project critiques modern consumerism while igniting a spark for motivation to connect & create.

Fans of The 1975, Phoenix, The Postal Service, The Radio Dept., the Killers or even Coldplay will connect with DANY AEPRL's sometimes dreamy yet defiant sound.

How does your background play into this song?

Answer:

"STILL WE RISE" is a wake-up call for dreamers ready to rise but also and especially for anyone who feels stuck in life. It’s supposedly an uplifting call to action: stop scrolling, get up, and chase whatever you love! Inspired by the artists own journey and his way back to making music.
