Jonas Lee Perspective on Fall is the Time

My name is Jonas Lee, I'm an Okie. I write, record, and produce music from my bedroom studio and play lead guitar in a red dirt band; Gage Wilkerson and the Young Guns. Although I play in a red dirt band, my main focus a solo indie artist is sticking to my own sound and style; indie. I've been writing music for a while now, but I think it is time to start showing my creations to the world.

I wrote this song 4 years ago after a great summer. It was the same summer we got my truck running and many other things that contributed to a memory vault. This song helps me unlock that vault. I wrote it because I was tired of fall and wished that I could either move foward or go back. It felt like I was stuck in a never ending cycle of leaves falling.

I remember riding in the back of the car with my dad when I was probably around 4 or 5. We were going under a tunnel and there was AC/DC playing on the radio, specifically the song "TNT". I remember asking dad what TNT was, and he explained that it was like dynamite. For some reason I still remember thinking about dinosours instead of dynamite.

There was never a specific moment. It seems like this has been in place for as long as I can remember.

Indie, Indie Rock, Experimental, even.

At first, I wanted to be a purist rock artist; grunge, garage rock, etc. After that, I wanted to start doing country stuff. But finally I discovered my sound and I am in a sure position as an indie artist.
