What has been your scariest experience while pursuing music?
Answer:

Issues with protecting the Lakeside Intellectual Properties. Specifically, the Lakeside Trademark to avoid confusion in the work place when other groups want to use your name illegally. 

What is the most memorable response you've had to your work?
Answer:

All the Continued Love, Support, Fun, Excitement, from our Lakeside Fans and Family.

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?
Answer:

To feel the Funk, Alive, be Imaginary, be yourself, like dancing the nite away. Feel love, closeness, purpose, hope, that better days are coming.  

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

Taking your mind off work, Dancing, taking you on a fantasy, Fantastic Voyage,  imaging yourself jammin on a island, vacationing, focusing on Love, relationships etc. and my interplanetarian alter egos.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

Early on. Sang in church along with my 3 older sisters. Left Dayton at 16 yrs old with band members, drove to California what suppose to have been 2 weeks and didn't return as a Dayton resident. Lived in the LA, Califoria area ever since. Career took off and Lakeside took flight 50 + years and still performing all over the globe.       

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

As a child, grew up listening to Ohio Players, Roger Trottman, Zapp, Slave, The Sun ALL from the Land of Funk, Dayton, Ohio.   

We all lived in the neighborhood, grew up together. Listened to Junie Morrison from Parliament.

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

This Song is the continuation of Funk! From the Legendary group Lakeside since 1969. It's keeping r n b funk alive. 

Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

Out of Dayton Ohio. Lakeside Captn Mark Wood, Legendary Lead Singer of the group Lakeside known for the classic "Fantastic Voyage!" It's All The Way Live. I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Raid, Your Love Is On the One.
