What drives you to continue writing music?

What inspired this song?
Answer:

Getting shot at in a drive by with my son after picking him up from school.

What goal were you trying to achieve while creating this song?
Answer:

Clown the shooters lol.

What artist or musician is your biggest influence?
Answer:

So many. I write like im writing for the artist I think would be great on the beat most of the time. Im just starting to find my own voice but I do draw from many artists.

Who is your biggest influence, that isn't an artist or musician?
Answer:

Walter Payton, Never Die Easy.

Describe how a real-life situation has inspired one of your songs.
Answer:

Pulling up was inspired by real events.

What artist influences you the most sonically?
Answer:

Depends on the beat. Im a producer too so I like to flow different on different beat and try to fit the production style.

What do you believe are the elements that make up a great song?
Answer:

If it sounds good to you when you make it and you like it enough to let the public judge it....dont let those judgements change your mind thats all that matters. 90 percent of the people judging are either terrible at music or dont like your style of music and they're irrelevant. I had so many people tell me my song sucked and then it did 45 million views. And is my most liked song by far.

In your opinion, what is the most difficult part of writing a new song?
Answer:

If I write a verse and record it and save it for the next day I almost always hate the next verse. I write fast so 99 percent of the time ill write it all the way through and then record it. I used to freestyle and then punch it up but I just do it in my head and punch up while writing now.

Would you consider your music an accurate reflection of who you are?
Answer:

I write how im feeling that day so yea for the most part bit I do exercises in writing to so some of them are just stories.

When you get stuck, where do you look for inspiration?
Answer:

I look up a song with the same bpm just to see how its been done and that always gets me back on track.

Do you have any personal superstitions that help you write a new song?
Answer:

I will draw a picture and then write over it so my books are full of art but If its a really good drawing I have to save it for a really good beat. And I hold myself to higher standards. Not really a superstition but definitely helps me mentally.

Which one comes to you first, lyrics or music?
Answer:

I like to hear music or make it first before writing because I dont like having to go back and change things a thousand times or not stay on beat writing in my head. I like to go bar by bar listening to the beat so it flows like water.

In what moments do you feel most inspired?
Answer:

After seeing behind the scenes with any artist.

What is the most random thing you have written a song about?
Answer:

I used to just start out writing the dumbest thing I could think of and then try to make a good song out of it so I have written down a full song with great bars in my notebook that starts out "you a poopy head."

Describe a time an inanimate object has inspired you to write a song.
Answer:

Peach Crown

Which topics do you find yourself consistently drawn to when writing a new song, and why?
Answer:

Talking shit. I like to make shit that makes you feel confident.
