Who are you and what do you do?

Answer:

Wassup guys my name is Atari Slim. I am a rapper, producer, song writer from Bay St Louis Mississippi, raised in Louisiana. I make music for the dreamers, the folk who dare ask for more out of life, and the folk afraid to.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?

Answer:

5 or 6 years old ...yea....Bone thugs in harmony "Crossroads" I would lay in front of the stereo and rewind it over and over. Writing down the lyrics so I could learn them. Been a student of the game since day 1.

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?

Answer:

Over the last 3 years I've found the beauty in the imperfections my singing and cadence might manifest especially in high emotional states when Im lost in the booth. I ended up with a sound unique and authentic. Raw.

If you could attend a performance by any artist, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?

Answer:

Bring back Chester Bennington from Lincoln Park. Shadow of the day? Waiting for the end? Bleed it out? Iridescent? One more light? I could do this all day.

What does your dream performance look like?

Answer:

It looks like Me not even performing. Just Sitting down on stage crying while the entire crowd rap my song by heart.
