Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

I'm Adrian and I make music with two friends of mine.

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

Silent Violence is like the culmination of everything messy that has shaped us into what we are today.

Ina and I had heard a few Yi Xi songs since 2024 and we always wanted to make a song with this voicebank.

Yi Xi's range of tone can go from delicate and smooth to fierce and powerful and we liked the result of experimenting with these two ends of the spectrum when writing the song.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

Well honestly there wasn't a dramatic moment where any of us vowed to become artists. My friends and I were on Bandlab and were messing up with the instruments there. One day I made something decent enough I thought was good to go for release.

I think maybe the real turning point was in the late 2021s when I made a few tracks with Fiverr vocalists and thought they sounded neat. I expected my friends to be like "wow way to go Adrian" at some point but the only reason they joined me is because they couldn't stand hearing good vocals over my not-so-professional (at that time) instrumentals so they joined me more out of pity than anything and here we are now.

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
Answer:

vocal synth slop

What is the most significant lesson you've learned through being an artist?
Answer:

Don't trust siblings with managing your social media accounts. 🤦
