Who are you and what do you do?

Answer:

My name is King Kai and I am a singer/songwriter.

How does your background play into this song?

Answer:

I have been trying to figure out what to write and what kind of artist I want to be. Suddenly, I was still and simply wrote from the heart. This song is a reflection on who I am currently.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?

Answer:

My earliest memory of listening to music was hearing Sade in my mother's car.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?

Answer:

I feel like it was always in me. I just didn't trust myself enough to pursue it 100%.

What genres does this release play into?

Answer:

I take inspirations from R&B, Soul, Acoustic vibes, Pop and Cinema.

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?

Answer:

It has changed drastically. From a predominant pop-electro sound to smoother R&B vibes.
