David Shepherd Grossman Perspective on Darkness

I'm a singer songwriter who has been writing and recording for over 40 years. My influences were the singer songwriter's of my yourth, Paul Simon, James Taylor, Harry Chapin, Stan Rogers, Mickey Newbury, Neil Young, Elton John and Bernnie Taupin to name a few. I was also inspired by many local artists from San Francisco where I grew up to Phoenix Arizona where I graduated from highschool. I started performing at age 14 at The Gorilla Grotto in San Francisco. My first payed gig was at the Ghirardelli Wine Cellar in Ghirardelli Square. My first album "Graffiti" came out on cassette tape in 1984.
