What inspired this song?
Answer:

I wanted a song that felt like speeding down the highway with the windows down—loud, stylish, and untouchable. At the time, I had been making a lot of love songs, so Bouijee Look was me swerving into a different lane. Sometimes I get in a bag where I just want to do the opposite of what I did last time, and this was that moment.

It’s bold, flashy, confident—like putting on a fit that makes you walk different. And with this new project, Diary of a Bouijee Kiid, I’m locking into one sound and really building a world around it.

What drives you to continue writing music?
Answer:

At first, it was the urge to outdo myself—constantly chasing the next level, the next version of me. Sometimes it’s the hunger to turn this into a full living. But what keeps me going, deeper than all of that, is the fulfillment I feel when I finish a song. That feeling hits different. It’s real.

A lot of people spend their lives trying to fill a void—with distractions like drugs, alcohol, or chasing people. But music became my outlet, my clarity, my vice. There’s power in turning pain, ego, and dreams into something you can play back.

That’s what I explored in my new project, Diary of a Bouijee Kiid—Ronykii Bouijee Japanese Streetwear

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

Growing up in Brooklyn, I was surrounded by people who knew how to make a dollar stretch — and still showed up looking like icons. That environment didn’t just teach me how to dress — it taught me how to carry myself.
Confidence was the real currency.

I didn’t come from luxury — I came from the hustle.
But I always saw fashion as power, and music as my mirror.
“Bouijee Look” is about reclaiming boujee energy and remixing it for people who don’t need a stylist to be stylish — just vision and belief in themselves.

The streets taught me resourcefulness. The culture taught me flair. The struggle taught me pride.
And above all — I taught myself confidence.

When I talk about a “Bouijee Look,” I’m not flexing labels —
I’m flexing vision,
I’m flexing background,
I’m flexing confidence.

This song is for the ones who know they’re that person, even when no one clapped for them yet.

Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

I go by RonyKii — artist, stylist, and voice for the rebels who move different. Born in Brooklyn, raised on ambition, I blend rock, rap, and pop with a fashion-forward edge. My music is boujee with a backbone — raw stories dressed in designer energy, even if it’s thrifted.

I make music for the bold.
I style looks that speak louder than words.
I turn confidence into a lifestyle.

From recording tracks that hit your emotions to building fits that break expectations, I’m all about self-expression as a power move. My latest work, “Bouijee Look,” is more than a song — it’s a movement for those who flex their truth, their way.

What is your favorite way of sharing your music?
Answer:

Honestly—grabbing someone’s phone, locking in with them, and just taking over the moment. I like having them frozen in my aura, like they don’t even realize it’s happening… and then I play a song from my discography that I know fits their vibe. Not just what I want them to hear—but what I feel represents them.

It’s personal, it’s bold, and it’s how I turn a casual moment into something deeper. That’s the power of music—it connects when it’s curated with intention.

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

Over the last three years, I’ve really found myself as an artist. Back then, my music felt scattered—like I was experimenting without a clear identity. Now, I know exactly who I am and what I represent. I’ve realized I’m a storyteller at heart—a songwriter who can take emotions, experiences, and ego and wrap them in something people feel.

Even with that clarity, I never let myself get too comfortable. I’m always pushing to evolve my sound, whether it’s sonically, visually, or through the themes I explore. Every project is a new chapter, and right now with Diary of a Bouijee Kiid, I’m focused on owning my voice and crafting a world that feels real, confident, and undeniably me.Where's Ronykii ? New project ? New fits ?

Do you have any particular methods that help you flush out your creativity while making music?
Answer:

Yeah—for me, it starts with setting a mood or a visual. Like with Bouijee Look, I pictured myself speeding down the highway—windows down, music blasting, dressed like I own the world. That image helped shape the whole vibe of the track: loud, stylish, untouchable.

Sometimes I’ll flip what I’ve been doing—if I’ve been making a lot of love songs, I’ll intentionally go left just to spark something new. That switch-up forces me to think differently, and that's where the creativity flows. I also treat each song like an outfit—it’s gotta fit the moment, the energy, the attitude.
