Killz Perspective on Body Language
Eric Omokoagbo Ufashame (born 28 April 1990) popularly known as Killz , is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer . His debut single "Naira Note" was one of 2023’s most celebrated releases which peaked at number 4 on the Apple Nigerian Afrobeats Songs chart among top artists like Davido , Wizkid , Burna Boy & Ckay . Producing the global anthems "Tour", “Jealous "Squid Game ” , “Down Below” and "Body Language" . Killz rose through the ranks in inner-city Lagos to getting discovered & globally known for his amazing recording talent.
A standout performance on "Naira Note" performance music video , “Jealous 'Squid Game' ” was his first introduction . Released months later, his debut Single " Naira Note" also produced fan favorite , “Tour” .
In 2023, Killz remains in the factory . Whetting his listener's palette with his critically acclaimed performance and vocals on all his releases , Killz is already gearing up for what appears to be a career defining year and for the future .
Who is Killz ?
Early life and background:
He graduated from the Auchi Polytechnic , Edo State Nigeria in 2012 . Eric and his family lived in Ikotun Egbe Lagos State and then in Abuja . Eric has shown great potential and inclination towards music since he was a child . While in secondary school in Lagos Nigeria "Elyon High School" , he was in a musical group . As his mother was a HairDresser , his family went to church regularly, as a family routine during his formative years While growing up , Fela , 9ice, P square , Chris Brown , 2face, Akon , Usher , D'Banj were some of his favorite singers. He picked interest in music and singing as an adolescent. And pursued his passion through his teenage years. He is fluid with the genre of music he does and switches from one genre to the other. He was signed to Big Smoke Records , a US-based record label in 2023 , marking the beginning of his professional music career. Since then, he has steadily risen in the music scene, gaining recognition for his smooth voice, relatable lyrics, infectious rhythms and melody .
