Sue Larsen Perspective on Easy To Love
To be creative and to express my songs and story authentically to the listener.
I have been in the music business over 45 years. It has always been with me, as a child and as an adult. It has been an outlet for me to communicate my inner self all along. So, until I have nothing else to say, I will continue.
To be real and not be caught up in a persona in order to be marketable. Yes, it may be easier to pretend. It may be easier or more natural to hide behind a mask. But, that is not sustainable. That is why we need to age...to be humbled by ourselves and our changing abilities.
I really don't feel the need to be compared to anyone. I know we are all different as artists and to try to be like someone else, well, that's not real. My music is not like any of the artists I will mention, but I admire the professionalism, creativity, longevity, and enthusiasm and stage presence of Anita Baker, Sting, George Benson, and Debbie Harry.
I enjoy photography and creating music videos. There is just so much you can do to make things interesting and poignent. I will do my best not to use AI as I would like to think I can come up with some cool stuff myself. That goes for music too. I enjoy sculptures and paintings as well.
I don't know enough about art and I also have not seen enough art to make a determination. I appreciate all art as there are many things I have no ability in making myself!
