Im Thayne J Wate, also known as SaintCloud and I'm a hiphop rapper and R&B singer

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

My biggest inspiration to a lot of my music comes from mac miller and I really hope I can carry my torch on that genre. RIP Mac. He's a Goat, Wish you were still here buddy.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

Early as 5 years old. My first memorie listening to music was at my grandma GG's house in portland oregon. She had a old record player and I remember listening to Nat King Cole, Ben E. King and Frank Sinatra on her record player. The Best!!!

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

I have always loved music but cared to much about the styles that were popin at the time. Then last year I thought . F**k what's popular right now, Ima make what I love to make

What genres does this release play into?
Answer:

I would say this is definitely a chill, Psychedelic HipHip/ rap or Alternitive HipHip witha little splash of R&B

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

Over the last year I have went from EDM, to POP, to Trap POP, to R&B and POP and Now I'm here making what I seem to love most. I think I definitley tip toed around the same style just took what I liked about them and found the one.

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

A lot of sadness bro, but I think pain can be a beautiful thing. Took take something sad and to creatively make it into a form lf healing and understanding is amazing and thats power of music. 100% the power of music
