Your perspective on your song

I am a songwriter with a day job. I write the lyrics and my sister writes the music. It's a perfect collaboration. Our goal is to write songs/stories about family, faith, healing and peace.

My background plays 100% into this song and the others I have written. I'm not afilliated with any religion but I wrote Holyism to describe that direct connection with something greater than you that you want to hear, feel and see in everything and every one.

I explore family, faith, love, unity.

I'll Aways Be In Your Corner feat. Sheddi. I also call it Dad's song. It was written as a tribute to my father. The song is about a phone call he made to me and told me he would always be in my corner.

I want them to feel relaxed and at peace.

On one of my songs somebody told me I was an excellent songwriter. It was deeply appreciated as you never know how your songs touch people.

I can't just name one but it's a song that has generational impact. To name a few Imagine by John Lennon, Purple Rain by Prince, Hallelujah I listen to several artists versions and Amazing Grace, various artists.

I keep writing lyrics because I think I have something to say. How long that will last I don't know.
