Who are you and what do you do?

Answer:

I am David Trucker and I am from Columbus, Georgia but live in Seguin, Texas now. I am a lyricist and song writer. My "day" job has brought me to West, Texas oilfield where I work a 17 day on and a 7 day off schedule. Most of my time is spent away from home.

How does your background play into this song?

Answer:

Well, I work in the oilfield and spend a lot of time away from home from my beautiful wife. So like the song says.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?

Answer:

Always loved listening to music. Really can't put a time stamp on it but at a really young age.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?

Answer:

The moment I realized I liked writing lyrics and sing was in my elementary years. I knew then I wanted to but life is a tricky and winding road with pitstops.

What genres does this release play into?

Answer:

Country, Blues, Rock

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?

Answer:

My style has always had blues influences but also a rock vibe but now that I have gotten older, I've leaned a little closer to country.
