What is the most memorable response you've had to your work?

Answer:

A woman came up to me after a show and said "Your song is EXACTLY what I'm going through right now and it really helped me through this breakup." I'll never forget that moment!

Who are you and what do you do?

Answer:

I'm Dan Ascanio and I'm a singer / songwriter /musician. I play guitar and I write the songs that are in my heart. I do my best to record and produce them so others can enjoy and hopefully relate!

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?

Answer:

I want each listener deeply relate and connect emotionally to the song, while a the same time TOTALLY lose themselves in the music. It sounds like it would be a contradiction but this is the feeling I get when I listen to my favorite songs.
