ive always thought about the viability of a song, the dream of creating a hit song.
this time, I just wanted to create something I loved.
So i got my friends together, we went in the studio and we PLAYED
We played right through the track 8 or 9 times and chose our favourite pass
no edits, no sequencing, just a bunch of musicians in a studio playing music.
Keep in mind, the radio edit does have an edit, a bridge to tie the story together
but the full version which is available on youtube and soon to be on all streaming platforms
has quite a bit of extra content ;)

Yep, thats where it started
the energy and groove
I spun that album more times than i could count when i was a kid
I was 15
Id had an interest in guitar but i never took it seriously but one day i was at a friends house and he showed me an instrumental piee by John Butler
called "ocean". That was a lightbulb moment for me, its a massive song and i sat transfixed by it for teh whole duration.
After that moment i knew what i wanted to do for the rest of my life.
Its raw, its got an Indie edge to it
Its funky but it drives like a rock song.
my style evolved based on my own realisation
I just want to play music, thats where it started
Just a boy and a guitar
Over time I tried to make something out of myself that I wasnt
I learned lessons and discovered parts of myself that really helped
But ultimately ive come full circle
Now
A man and his guitar and we just play.
Longing, missing someone and wishing you could get them back
Love and that want for a second chance before its too late.
