Which production tools were the most helpful while producing this track?
Answer:

I use reason 13 for everything all the instruments that I play that I plug into my boards and cord. In reason then I use multimedia T-racks To help boost the sound quality and go through the mastering process

What is your favorite instrument to work with, and why?
Answer:

here's a hard question to answer because I play so many instruments. I don't think it's more about having a favorite instrument. It's about having a different type of mood for each instrument so I'm need to play the drums. I'm having a really bad day if I'm gonna need to play the guitar, I'm just trying to soothe some things if I need to play the piano, I'm sad however when I'm making hip-hop needs and stuff like that, just depends on what mood I'm in or starting to develop when I was in the process of creating a beat

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

My music is rooted in truth — not trends.

I explore themes like pain, survival, emotional trauma, addiction, betrayal, identity, healing, and redemption. I dive deep into mental health, especially for men who were taught to bury their emotions. I write about what it means to be hardened by life but still human underneath it all.

There’s a constant tension in my work — between who I was and who I’m becoming. I talk about prison, street life, heartbreak, faith, and finding purpose through the wreckage. I don’t sugarcoat anything. My lyrics are scars with a rhythm.

At the core of it all, my music is about transformation — turning suffering into strength, and giving a voice to the ones who’ve been silenced.

Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

I’m DyeVerse — an artist forged through pain, purpose, and perseverance. I’m not just a rapper. I’m a survivor. A storyteller. A voice for the ones who got written off, locked down, or broken by life but never gave up.

I create music that cuts through the noise — raw, real, and unapologetically honest. Every bar I write comes from lived experience: addiction, prison, betrayal, healing. I’ve been through it all, and now I turn that pain into power — not for fame, but for connection.

My mission is simple: to speak the truth most people are too afraid to say, and to reach the ones who feel like no one sees them.

Because I’ve been there.

And I’m still here.

So I make music for us.

oh, and I play a bunch of instruments too lol

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?
Answer:

Without a doubt — DAX.

His music didn’t just inspire me — it saved me. After surviving a relationship with a narcissist, I was in the darkest place I’ve ever been. I spent seven days alone in a room, staring at a loaded pistol, trying to make sense of the pain, betrayal, and chaos that had been dropped on me. I didn’t want to be here anymore. I didn’t understand why someone would come into my life just to break me for their own ego.

But it was DAX’s music — his truth, his rawness, his pain — that kept me holding on. He made me feel seen when I felt invisible. He gave me permission to feel without shame. Touring with him wouldn’t just be a career move — it would be a full-circle moment. From the edge of the end… to sharing a stage with the man who helped pull me back.

That’s more than music. That’s survival

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?
Answer:

Thugs Got Tears Too stands above the rest. It’s the most personal piece I’ve ever released — a raw confession in a world that punishes vulnerability, especially in men. Where I come from, strength meant silence. You weren’t allowed to show pain. But that silence is killing people.

This song is about breaking that code. It’s about saying, “Yes, I’ve been through hell — and yes, I still feel.” It’s a reminder that emotional health matters, that scars don’t make you weak, they make you real. I didn’t write it to impress — I wrote it to heal. And if it helps someone else do the same, then it did its job.

What is your definition of success as an artist? How do you measure this success?
Answer:

For me, success has never been about money, fame, or clout. I’m not chasing charts — I’m chasing connection.

If one verse I spit helps someone feel less alone… if one song makes someone pull themselves back from the edge, or gives them the courage to keep pushing — then I’ve succeeded. That’s the whole mission.

Music gave me my life back. Now I use it to pay that gift forward.

If I can change the direction of just one person’s day, mindset, or life in a positive way — that’s more valuable than a million streams or a viral hit.

Success, for me, is measured in impact, not income.

One soul saved is worth more than a room full of applause.
