Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

This is Saul Before, a one-piece band that does it all. From punk to southern metal, every album brings something unique to the listeners.

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

My background is the inspiration for Saul Before. I started off playing in different bands, from punk to metal. I missed it, so I decided to put myself back into it.

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?
Answer:

Every Time I Die is a huge inspiration for me and Inknow they would be a blast to hang out with.

Do you have one main reason driving you to continue making music?
Answer:

It keeps me sane. If I didn't make music, I would probably just doom scroll all day long.

What genres does this release play into?
Answer:

A little bit of country/outlaw and a dash of metal with a lot of rock.

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
Answer:

Instrumental experimental punk rock metal.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

I was 14 years old, I had been playing drums for 3 years, when my best friend got a bass guitar. We started making music and soon it became the only the thing we did. I loved it. It was a couple years until our first show and that's when I decided I didn't want to do anything else.

If you could attend a performance by any artist, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

I really want to see Billy Joel. The man is so versatile and so talented. He's another one of my major influences.
