Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

Itbolognami is an independent  American songwriter, rapper and singer from Lancaster, CA. Itbolognami was raised for the memorable part of his childhood in Oklahoma. Itbolognami has been doing music since 2015 and has loved it every step of the way and has come across some big names in the industry. He is also looking to work with other independent artists that are in his market always. Itbolognami continues to write and record until this very day.

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

Itbolognami has been in many relationships blindly. Overcoming those relationships has been an eye-opening experience for him. The call for a true connection with someone is the purpose of the song “Test Me”.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

Itbolognami’s earliest memory had to have been at 4 years old when his grandmother use to play Pop-Christian music to get the children excited about going to church.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

When Itbolognami was 6 years old is when he knew he loved to sing, when he turned between 10-11 years old he knew he wanted to perform and when he was 13 he knew he wanted to be an artist.

What genres does this release play into?
Answer:

Pop, Hip-Hop, Experimental and Lo-Fi

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

Itbolognami’s style has managed to partake in many stylings of other genres to create a sound for himself. Examples would be Jazz, Lo-Fi, Pop, Trap, Hip-Hop and many more to create a contemporary pioneering sound for his audience to listen to.

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

Itbolognami is just an artist. He's not into many themes. Music has a world full of inspiration or topics to talk about instead of making theme(s) the center of creating the artistry.

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?
Answer:

Nicki Minaj would be the choice. Why, well, mainly because she can relate to the melancholy and Hip-Hop vibe Itbolognami is always up to creating. Of course pop music is involved but, music to uplift people and music to get the bars out the way.

How would you describe your favorite artist's music to someone who has never heard them before?
Answer:

Edgy, Bright and Sophisticated.

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
Answer:

Humbling, Exciting and Clean.

If you could attend a performance by any artist, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

Michael Jackson is the choice. Why, because Michael is Itbolognami’s long-time favorite male artist.

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?
Answer:

Itbolognami - Sure. This song may have a lot more meaning to trust and generality than many may think.

What is your overarching goal as an artist?
Answer:

Making a trillion dollars.

If you could only listen to three artists for the rest of your life, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

Itbolognami would choose Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey and Tasha Cobbs Leonard because they all are centered at Pop, Gospel and Contemporary.

What is the strangest place where you have discovered a new song?
Answer:

Itbolognami can’t remember that.

What does your dream performance look like?
Answer:

Itbolognami would be performing with Nicki Minaj and multiple songs for sure.

Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey and Michael Jackson

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?
Answer:

Love, happiness and peace.

Itbolognami does practice and practice is minimal but, studied to perfect the craft. Practice is annual.

Answer:

Being happy being an artist. Itbolognami measures success with laughter and cheer.

Answer:

The Scream or The Yeller. However it is named.

Answer:

Kindly sensing everything and praising a higher power for it ALL and at once.

Answer:

A motivated leader in the social environment.

Answer:

No. 

How have your other passions reinforced your process of making music?
Answer:

Everything is feeding into my motives for music.

What has been your scariest experience while pursuing music?
Answer:

Knowing that there are people that would hurt others just because they do music. Music has motive for artists to talk about anything. That factors into exposure that can become good for people, the artist and overall just good. Sad to know that some don't feel that way. Then to know that people are willing to commit crimes against artists is even more heinous knowing this.

What has been your most embarassing moment while pursuing music?
Answer:

Walking out of my ownevent to leave and make a point.

If you could alter the music industry in any way, what would you change and why?
Answer:

I'd change how the industry pursues artist and how they portray their legitimacy.
