My name is Ec_thangster I am an artist, musician, song writer and  performer 

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

My life has been a roller coaster the obstacles turned me into an animal now everyone counted me out even my own team. I served 17.5 years up in them mountains they said I was dead now I'm back and ima set the world on fire.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

We use to get this satellite station in jail called "the heat", they use to give us all the new exclusive music all the time they kept me up to date with what was going on out there on the music scene 

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

As a young teenager

Answer:

Hip Hop Drill/Trap

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

Full surface I came home in June  I found my sound in Prison 

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

The struggles, difficulties, the cruel and unusual punishment as well as the good times I've experienced in some of the most harshest environments. Man me and my bunkie found a way to bid and laugh crack jokes Shit like that. We adapt to the environment we here  my life is in my music what I been through and look at me now "Y'all Should Be Proud Of Me" that's why prison saved my life Ilma changed man shit you never know prison might have saved your life and you don't even know it.

Answer:

Elizabeth,  yea this song has strong values to me because that's the first song I did all by myself. I went and brought a home studio pre production joint, and I  recorded and mixed everything myself and it came out sturdy.

What does your dream performance look like?
Answer:

Pittsburgh Stadium

I had someone I didn't know that remember ed me from back in the day cry when he heard some of my new sh!t when I came home

Continue to make good music and build on creative thought. Think outside the box and be myself

When you have die hard loyal fans, that follow you around the world going to your shows. When you have Grammys under your belt.

Answer:

The Exploitation of Hip Hop culture. This is a gift, this ain't just something anybody could do. You can't just fail at playin soccer and say o well I guess I'll be a Rapper. This ain't easy it's hard work, you can't just wake up one day and say I wanna be an R&B singer professionally No so respect the Hip Hop culture as you respect other genres of music.
