Who are you and what do you do?

Answer:

I'm Leviticus Lott, I make music and spend my time in school, researching artists and interviewing them, through my position at Daybreak Star Radio.

How does your background play into this song?

Answer:

My mom sung in one of the best jazz bands in America when she was young, and she traveled through California, Seattle, and the East Coast as well. I grew up listening to Amy Winehouse and a lot of R&B. My sister introduced me to the Weeknd when I was young. I had already been interested in Michael Jackson and would watch his VHS at least 1000 times a day, so the Weeknd's voice and avantegarde R&B really stuck with me, at the time there was 'house of balloons' before 'the hills' era.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?

Answer:

Me watching thriller on VHS, and hearing Michael Jackson's voice; I always got scared when he would turn into a Werewolf.
