Sridarshan Perspective on Day & Night

This is Sridarshan Nanda, a 23-year-old biomedical engineering student at the University of Texas at Dallas who is also pursuing an associate degree in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology at Dallas College. I am the Founder and President of Scitech International LLC, a company that distributes medical and surgical devices from the U.S. to the Middle East and Europe.

Beyond academics and business, I am passionate about strength training and fitness, following an intense regimen that includes fasting, low-carb dieting, and gym workouts. I have a love for technology and gaming, owning high-end devices like the ASUS Zephyrus G16, MacBook Pro, and much more.

Additionally, I am a part-time music artist, playing piano, composing, and writing lyrics. I love traveling, luxury, and investments, including cryptocurrency staking. I own multiple digital assets and are actively tracking their value.

I am highly goal-driven, financially strategic, and disciplined, always seeking ways to optimize my health, career, and investments whilst still enjoying gaming, movies, and fine dining.

Growing up as an Indian in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia has deeply influenced the way I express emotions in my music, and Day & Night is a reflection of that unique blend. The song’s melodic simplicity and rhythmic repetition echo the hypnotic, almost trance-like qualities found in both Indian romantic ballads and Arabic love songs, where passion is conveyed through poetic, yet direct expressions of longing. My lyrics is intense yet intimate. It mirrors the storytelling tradition of Indian music, where love is often portrayed as destiny, much like how I sing about my soul choosing "one and only girl" among billions. At the same time, the smooth, flowing vocal delivery and atmospheric feel of the track carry a subtle Middle Eastern influence, reminiscent of the heartfelt odes and deep emotions often conveyed in Arabic music. My earliest memory would be from when I was around 8 years old when my parents bought me a small keyboard from a store and I taught myself over the years how to make melodies. With years of practice and experiencing a variety of different music cultures - I feel as though I have found my calling and made a step forward being a songwriter and music composer.

I was always made fun of for my voice and my accent growing up. With much love and support from family members to close friends, I was encouraged to sing and post it to public. I have received nothing but positive feedback and that really gives me the drive to keep making more.
