Answer:

Indi, rock. Neo psychedelia

Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

New Jersey based independent recording artist/songwriter. 

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

I have worked on thematically connecting all the works on a record to create a greater sense of unity and sonic consistency while expanding my harmonic range through exploration of upper extensions

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?
Answer:

I would enjoy touring with Drugdealer as I live what he is doing currently though I could see my set holding up well with an artist like Bruce Springsteen whose lyrical focus and thematic weight would seemingly mesh well with my content

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
Answer:

With an ear towards Sonic's and harmonic sophistication, my music has a retro-feel often exploring some of the popular 70's styles from Southern California.  Much of the music is adult contemporary with a softer rock touch and a focus on playing technique.  

If you could only listen to three artists for the rest of your life, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

The Doors, Bruce Springsteen, Beach House

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?
Answer:

I am very proud of Because No Reason with its sophisticated key changes and explorations of key centers, the song, imo, just works really well.  Another favorite is an upcoming single, One Giant Step.

Who is your dream artist or musician to collaborate with?
Answer:

I'd love to collaborate with Weyes Breath, Kate Billings's, Mat Demarco, Steve Lacey, or Smushie

If you could attend a performance by any artist, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

The Doors Miami 1969

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?
Answer:

Emotionally moved and intellectually curious

What is your definition of success as an artist? How do you measure this success?
Answer:

Having a broad listenership that gets and appreciates what you are trying to do

What is your overarching goal as an artist?
Answer:

To carve out my own lane
