Adrian Mason Perspective on Fogo
I go by Adrian Mason and have been playing music for over 15 years. My journey started as a DJ when I was 8 years old. Since then, I have honed the craft of DJing. About 8 years ago, I picked up music production for fun, and about 3 years ago, I started taking it seriously. Since then, I have overcome my shyness and artistic perfectionism, and now I'm happy to put some music out there that people will enjoy!
I grew up with ADHD in the age of technology, and my dad was a huge influence in teaching me how to DJ and properly store my equipment. I have also been playing guitar for four years.
My earliest memories with music would be at my dad's house. He would play our favorite artists like Benni Benassi, Tiesto, Armin Van Buren, and more!
At first, I was against becoming a performer/artist. I just wanted to DJ gigs and create music for myself. Now, I realize how easy creating and performing my music can be, especially when you have a fantastic support group! Shoutout to all my family and homies!
Fogo, the song, combines Latin percussions with tech house groove. It becomes infectious and fun to dance too!
