Who are you and what do you do?

Answer:

I'm a singer/songwriter exploring the human condition. This means that I'm more likely to write about social justice, poverty, environmental, and political subjects. But I still make time for love songs and other stuff.

How does your background play into this song?

Answer:

I was taught to treat others the way I would want to be treated. You Make Your Own Morality asks us to look at how we view right and wrong, good and bad through the lens of someone who is rich and powerful and perhaps a celebrity.
Due to their status they are able to be self indulgent and take from others while making the pretense of being a "good" person.

We all get to choose and make moral choices, but is their some basic standard we should all aspire? You Make Your Own Morality...but is it right?

Do you have one main reason driving you to continue making music?

Answer:

I have things that I want to say. Ideas that I want to communicate. And a desire to be creative. Making Music is the opportunity to do those things. However the philosophical question of the tree falling in the forest, and if no one is around to hear it...does it make a sound? Is very much in play. So if you're reading this, I hope you've decided to help me make a sound.
