Who are you and what do you do?

Answer:

I'm FGMLeeko, I currently live in South Carolina. I am a Producer, Musician, Beatmaker, Rapper/Singer Songwriter, and Recording Engineer.

I lived my pre, teenage and a portion of my Adult life in Miami, Fla in the Little Haiti InnerCity. I went to MIami Edison Sr Highschool until I Dropped out to persue other "Lanes" lol. Ive been making music since i was 4 or 5 my father says!

How does your background play into this song?

Answer:

Well as the title of the song says, I desperately Need this Special person to really Lock in with me and stay forever

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?

Answer:

My Mom Playing "Make Me Bad" and other songs from the Issues album by KoRn, who til this day is my favorite band of all time.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?

Answer:

when I was 9 years old my dad would take me to a studio in town and they would let me use FL studio (Fruity Loops), and One day we were there and A guy heard the beat i was finishing up and offered money for it as soon as i exported. I made my first $100 Bill off of something that I created that day

What themes do you explore throughout your music?

Answer:

Emotions. Happy, sad, angry, funny, everything

Do you have a distinct way of making music, how do you work?

Answer:

I make my own beats so usually Im creating lyrics while the production of the instrumental is being made. I work best when i am completely alone

Do you prefer working alone or collaborating with others? How does this influence your sound?

Answer:

Alone, I can Be more expiremental when i am alone as i do have Anxiety lol

Which aspect of the writing, production and release process do you enjoy the most?

Answer:

How many beats do you produce per month?

Answer:

anywhere from 15 to 20 beats a month
