How does your background play into this song?

Answer:

My first song was 'Throne of God' and it was written in a Walmart parking lot one rainy evening. I knew this undiscovered gift was from God and so I wanted my first song to pay tribute to that. After writing a bunch of pop and hip hop songs, I was playing around with some beats and MIDI notes and stumbled across this beautiful and ethereal combination of layers. It sounded heavenly to me and so I decided to finish the song and make it another song paying homage to God. I have had a lot of miraculous things happen in my life including surviving a near-death-experience at age 22, so it's only fitting I made this song.
