What is your earliest memory of listening to music?

Answer:

I use to watch The Temptations movies every single day back when I was a kid! I can remeber singing along to all the motown hits!

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?

Answer:

I played college football at Defiance College. When I wasnt in class or practice I would spend time recording song on my iPad. I eventually built a skill and became better. Ive wanted to be a singer since I was give years old.

What genres does this release play into?

Answer:

Real R&B! I believe the vibe, smooth vocals and melodies fit right into R&B...

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?

Answer:

Chris Brown! CB is my generations Michael Jackson. He has been putting out hits for 20 years! A tour with Chris Brown would change my life!

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?

Answer:

This is toughhhh! Good Love is for sure in my Top 5! That song literally feels industry level to me lol It's like the perfect r&b song and is the definition of a Nealy record!!

What is your favorite way of sharing your music?

Answer:

I love sending my demos to my close frinds and seeing their reaction! I also love positng on socials and seeing the feedback! Seeing people witness that im HIM is always fun! lol

Name a song that best represents success to you, and why?

Answer:

JAY NEALY - TEQUILLA !! This was my first country song and it recived amazing reviews!

Do you have one main reason driving you to continue making music?

Answer:

I just love writing songs and making music.

Who are you and what do you do?

Answer:

Jay Nealy is a multi talented songer songewriter. Nealy writes, arranges, produces, and engineers his own music.

How does your background play into this song?

Answer:

When Jay Nealy frist began recordining music he started with R&B. Drawing inspiration from artist like Tank, R Kelly, Chris Brown, and Eric Bellinger.

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?

Answer:

My sound has evolved and progressivly gotten better from practice. I have become better at mixing and mastersing, my song writing has also improved! I write songs based on feeling and emotion. What ever feels good is good! I've allowed myself to write mutlipe genres of music as I continue to grow.

Who is your dream artist or musician to collaborate with?

Answer:

CHRIS BROWN!
