How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

Well this song actually goes both ways from sexual experiences to engaging with a woman that's lusting over me at the party. She's a good girl with a man at home but she can't resist her sexual prowling. Every time I give an inch she takes a mile. She's gonna run from me with wet panties

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

Ive been listening and singing to music since I was probably 5 years old. Growing up in the early 80s and 90s my grandma and I would listen to old records. Depending on the music it was a blue or red light vibe. I love berry white growing up. Which is why my beard is so clean till this day.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

I would say I was around 9 years old when my cousin and I would spend countless nights playing on the keyboard and rapping together. We even created tapes, pretending we had our own radio station. Those were some of the most fun and creative moments of my childhood!

What genres does this release play into?
Answer:

I’d describe it as pop rap with a vibe that reminds me of Flo Rida. But honestly, let's just call it some good-ass dance music. Ooooohhh weeeeeee!

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

Butter Knife Shawty stands out with a unique sound that's unlike anything else on the market today. Rather than changing my style, I focus on understanding what resonates with people. Over the last three years, my sound and style have evolved by blending diverse influences and experimenting with new techniques, always aiming to stay true to my artistic vision while connecting with my audience.

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

In my music, I explore a variety of themes, including the impact of childhood trauma and the intensity of sexual experiences. I create fun and love music that captures the spectrum of romantic expression. Sometimes, I'm all about being gentle, loving, and tender, while other times, I embrace my inner bedroom beast—pulling hair, spitting on her face and in her mouth, tapping into that intense, nasty Scorpio energy. This blend of themes allows me to connect with listeners on multiple levels, reflecting the complexities of human emotions and relationships.

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?
Answer:

Shaboozy, teddy swims, OutKast, Ludacris, killer mik, TI, jeezy, flo rida, pit bull, drake, wiz and 2 chain

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
Answer:

I would describe my music as an eclectic blend of raw emotion and vibrant energy. It's a journey through the highs and lows of life, weaving together themes of personal growth, love, and the complexities of human relationships. My sound is both introspective and bold, offering a mix of heartfelt melodies and intense rhythms. Whether it's the tender moments or the unapologetically wild ones, my music captures the essence of real, unfiltered experiences.

If you could attend a performance by any artist, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

2pac, berry white. Micheal Jackson

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?
Answer:

My favorite song that I've made is 'Childhood Trauma.' It's a track that's raw and dark, yet it has a groovy vibe that makes it stand out. The authenticity and depth of the song resonate with me, as it captures real emotions and experiences. I love how it paints such a vivid picture that I can easily imagine it being the soundtrack to a movie. It's a piece that truly embodies the complexity and resilience of the human spirit.
