Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

JOL was first signed in the 90's to a label called DOT Records, which was an independent, cutting-edge label gaining traction in Europe. My focus was electronic jazzy funk. Alongside, I've worked as a composer my whole life, creating for games and films. The music for Battlefield 1942 is probably my most famous work. In early 2000, Erik Niklasson and I formed "The Similou" and later had a hit with the single "All This Love." Around 2010, I found techno beats inspiring, and my songs started to shift in this direction. I like to work with making visuals as can be seen in some my new tracks.

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

Before my friends and I met at a party at Sillvik (a place by the sea in Gothenburg) I made a promise to create a theme song for Sillvik. My first thought was to quickly create something, but I started to like where it was heading and spent many hours composing and getting the vocals right. The group of people were all electronic music lovers, and this song turned out to be a real highlight of that wonderful evening.
