Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

I'm a Christian Rapper who makes songs glorifying Christ and all his gloriousness.

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

My background as a kid from Detroit plays into this song because I come from an environment of struggle and pain and a past of sin that only Christ can free me from. I'm so grateful to have experienced his love and want others to experience it as well

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

My earliest memory of listening to music was when I was five yrs old and was chose to sing "I believe I can fly" by R.Kelly at my kindergarten Graduation 

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

I decided to become an artist in 2021 shortly after getting out of the military. Although I always knew I wanted to do music

What genres does this release play into?
Answer:

The genre for this release is Gospel/ Christian Rap

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

Since I've started recording over the past 3 years my sound has grown a lot. I've been able to experiment with different sounds and styles as I figured out my voice.

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

The only theme I explore throughout my music is Christ. I use to do secular music when I first started recording but that was before I found Christ. 

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
Answer:

I would describe my music as inspirational music. I hope to inspire people to seek Christ. Especially the people that knew me before I found Christ and see the turn around in my lifestyle

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?
Answer:

My favorite song that I've made is called "Cain & Abel" on my "Journey Man" album. It's my favorite song because at the time I made it I wasn't sure what direction I was going with my music but when I got in the studio and made that song that day it became clear that my music is my ministry and that I have to serve the lord through my music. 

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?
Answer:

I want ppl to feel what I felt as I made the music which is the goodness and love of God. I want people to feel like no matter where they are in life if they surrender their life to Him they will be transformed and renewed

What three words would you want your fanbase to use to describe you?
Answer:

I would want them to think of me just a Vessel, Humble, Servant. 

What is your favorite way of sharing your music?
Answer:

I don't know yet. My favorite way right now is sharing music with my family and friends. They encourage me to keep going. 

What is the most memorable response you've had to your work?
Answer:

I've had someone tell me they needed to hear what I said in my music because it was an inspiration for them in their walk with Christ

What is your definition of success as an artist? How do you measure this success?
Answer:

My definition of success is to correctly do the will of my Father. I measure success by the amount of people that give their life to Christ as a result of listening to my music

What role do you believe the artist has in our society?
Answer:

I believe artist are vital in society. Ppl tend to follow what the artist does. So instead saying and perpetuating negative stereotypes of I can lead people to Christ then I'm doing my job 

What jobs have you done other than being an artist?
Answer:

I'm a jack of all trades lol. I've done credit repair, I'm a handy man  so I do plumbing, electrical, painting, flooring etc. and I've worked as a SSR for Cintas for a few years now.
