How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

My influences of Punk and Grunge Rock mixed with Southern Rock personifies the style of music that I write

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

I listened to Cross Canadian Ragweed's Purple album at 17 and I was hooked. I wanted to play guitar and sing just like Cody Canada from then on.

Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

My name is Ben Martin and I play in the rock group Ninety-Four.04. I am an Electrical Engineer by trade and love to write music

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

All types of rock; Punk, Grunge, Hard, Metal, Southern

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?
Answer:

In Progress because it has a guitar instrumental, is fun to sing, and it exemplifies a true origin story of how the band got its name.

What is your overarching goal as an artist?
Answer:

To play on some of the biggest stages and festivals in the Country

Cody Canada, Charlie Starr, Post Malone

What is the most significant lesson you've learned through being an artist?
Answer:

Always pay it forawrd no matter where you go and who you meet. You never know when you might need a hand in life

Answer:

Probably 5 years old listening to October Project or REM

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
Answer:

Hard Rock. Southern, depending on the day

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?
Answer:

Connection. A sense of realism and passion that I put into each lyric and note that I play

Do you practice? How has your practice changed over time?
Answer:

I practice music everyday. Whether it be a new instrument or guitar. Though keeping up with social media robs me of that time unfortunately

What three words would you want your fanbase to use to describe you?
Answer:

great guitar playing more than anything else. I have always strived to be like Duane Allman 

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?
Answer:

Blackberry Smoke, Black Crowes or Whiskey Myers. They seem like a great time

Who is your dream artist or musician to collaborate with?
Answer:

I would love to write a song with Charlie Starr. People really gravitate to his music and he puts a lot of passion into everything he does

What is your favorite way of sharing your music?
Answer:

Playing local gigs and festivals. It is always fun to receive uplifting comments to total strangers

What genres does this release play into?
Answer:

This plays into very heavy Hard Rock which might be the heaviest on the album. Someone says it sounds a lot like Dirty Honey or AC/DC
