I am Jay Civic. I'm an Alternative R&B/Pop Artist from Queens, NY. I'm a songwriter who sings and plays guitar.

How does your background play into this song?

Answer:

This is a song about the deadly combination of love and emotional absence. Sometihng I've experienced while dating in New York City.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?

Answer:

Hearing my mom play R&B and Soul early in morning while we cleaned the house.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?

Answer:

During highschool when I really learned how to play guitar.
