I'm an artist who goes by the name Duce El Torro. I'm a producer, engineer, and lyricist/writer.
My Grandfather and Grandmother were both musicians when they met, so I guess it's in my veins😊
My earliest music memory, I don't know, however the first time that I'd heard rap and knew it was what I wanted to do was Doug E Fresh and Slick Rick's The Show, and I was blown away 😲
My first stage performance was when I was 9 years old. Me and a friend, who's my brother still, entered into a contest where we were the youngest contestants and we won. 🏆
Some people call it spiritual rap or conscious rap, most people classify it as gospel hiphop, and that's fine with me😊
Wow, well in the last 3 years I'd say my music has became more social commentary and informative vs just trying to make a hit record with no significant meaning.
