How does your background play into this song?

Answer:

This song is written for those who are in a relationship that is great at first but with those bumps in the road it makes you second guess everything. It is a reminder that even through the bumps there is still something there that is genuine and worth fighting for.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?

Answer:

One of my earliest memories of music is riding in the truck with my dad turning Audioslave to the max. I also remember that there was always a collective range of music being played every day. It must have been based on the current mood. One of the first country songs I heard was Boot scootin boogie by Brooks and Dunn, between this song and even the current country songs have molded me into the artist I am today.
