Humor is my best inspiration actually. When I'm just listening to some other song and start making my own lyrics to a beat in that song or changing the song up. lol

Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

Hey there, thanks for stopping by and supporting my song BUMP BUMP BUMP. When I'm not making music I work in my other profession as a Armed Security Officer. Been doing security work for 26 years off and on. I'm also a Army Veteran and deployed to Iraq four times. Served 18 years in the military. I love making music and especially writing my own songs. I do my own production and release my music using UnitedMasters, Distribution.

How does your background play into this song?

I have always been fond of dancing. Dancing lets the stress out and it lets you express yourself. This is the motivation for the song BUMP BUMP BUMP..

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

My earliest memory of listening to music was a long time ago, back in the 1970s. Growing up, listening to Fleetwood Mac, The Doors, Queen, and Journey. The list is far to long to list all the greats.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

I always had the ability to make music because I had the natural talent to write my own songs, but I never put my songs on paper. Three months ago I did just that. And now I have written over 50 songs and have produced all of them. I have just released 30 songs this week Between August 27 and August 29 of 2024.

What genres does this release play into?
Answer:

Definitely dance with a pop or rock vibe.

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

My sounds style, only began three months ago. I don't even have three months in the business. But I have 30 professionally produced songs because I believe go big or go home.

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

I like to write music that relates to world events. I also am  a mood song writer.

If you could go on tour with any artist, who would it be and why?
Answer:

I wouldn't know where to begin. I would just be excited to get an invitation to hang out. But I would definitely like to be in the recording studio with somebody that's trying to finish writing a song so they can get it produced and thrown on their album and be 100% happy with it.

How would you describe your favorite artist's music to someone who has never heard them before?
Answer:

I have a lot of favorite artists, but my most favorite vocalist is Ozzy Osbourne. Stevie Nicks would be my favorite female vocalist and if I were to describe them to somebody that never heard them before which I've had to do with my 11-year-old son. I have them listen to my favorite song and ask them their opinion of it and then explain to them why I think this song is so great.

How would you describe your music to someone who has never heard it before?
Answer:

My music is designed to reach as many peoples as possible by its own diversity. I cover a lot of different genres. There's something for everybody.

If you could attend a performance by any artist, dead or alive, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

I honestly would love to see Blake Shelton live in concert. Hopefully meet him in person one day because I admire his singing style. I really like the songs he chooses. God's country is one of my favorite songs ever.

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?
Answer:

BUMP BUMP BUMP is in my top five as favorites. But my number one favorite song has to be 'HOPI NATION'S TRUTH' because of the emotional attachment I have to the song. It's a song about the resolve of the Hopi native peoples and tells of how the U.S. Government broke their treaty agreement with them.

If you could only listen to three artists for the rest of your life, who would you choose and why?
Answer:

• Ozzy Osbourne

• STEVIE NICKS

• BLAKE SHELTON

What does your dream performance look like?
Answer:

My dream performance would be anything involving a collaboration with other artists.

Who is your dream artist or musician to collaborate with?
Answer:

That would definitely be Ozzy Osbourne or Blake Shelton.

What is the strangest place where you have discovered a new song?
Answer:

At the Palisades ski resort in Lake Tahoe with my wonderful wife and son.

What do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?
Answer:

I want people to feel like they got a return on their investment with their time or their money for both. Then I want them to favorite the music. They listen to if they genuinely liked it and share with other people so the momentum keeps going and there's a ripple effect For many years. I don't expect people to like every single song but if you can find one or two or more, that's enough for me.

What three words would you want your fanbase to use to describe you?
Answer:

• Creative

• Ambitious

• Approachable

What is your favorite way of sharing your music?
Answer:

My favorite way to share music is one on one in person. My back up way would have to be social media.

Do you practice? How has your practice changed over time?
Answer:

I get better and better at writing songs that's my number one gift from above. Everything else is just being technically inclined, which you can learn. The talent of creativity can be learned as well if you work on it, but some people are just naturally gifted.

What is the most memorable response you've had to your work?
Answer:

I've had so much good response to my songs. I did a trial run on TikTok with my music and the comments I got back were very good. The one that really stands out was the individual told me that my music is on fire.

What is your definition of success as an artist? How do you measure this success?
Answer:

I'll let you know when I get there. I just got here. I haven't even had time to fail, let alone succeed.

How do you plan on being a game-changer within your genre?
Answer:

I'm not here to change the genre. I'm here to add to it and keep it all alive.

What role do you believe the artist has in our society?
Answer:

I believe an artist or any professional has an obligation to be true to themselves, and to those they serve where they get their income from. Athletes don't get their income from the sports franchise. They get their income from the fans and sometimes I think celebrities forget that it's not, the label or the movie company or the studio that puts money in their pockets it's the fans.

Name a song that best represents success to you, and why?
Answer:

I have a song that is released called guardians of the night, and that song was written about me and what I do for a living as a armed security officer otherwise known as an armed protection officer. My main function in my job is to respond to active shooters as a first responder.

What has been your scariest experience while pursuing music?
Answer:

Well, I'm so new in the industry. I think what scary is everything. Because I don't know what to expect I have no long-term experience. But what gets me through everything is that I am my go-getter. I just produced 30 songs in one week and I only started writing music three months ago and producing it. I will be the perfect example of what modern artist looks like Because I did everything from my iPhone.

What has been your most embarassing moment while pursuing music?
Answer:

Well, to be honest, I've written so much music in the past three months that forgetting lyrics is embarrassing. In the past three months, I've written about 50 songs. And I am a human being. I'm not perfect, but memorizing the songs still working on that. Some I have memorized and some have mostly memorized. But once in a while, I'll mess up the lyrics when I sing them. Keep in mind I only started three months ago. I think there's a lot of room for growth and there's a lot of time to grow. I embrace it and look forward to this.

If you could alter the music industry in any way, what would you change and why?
Answer:

I would like to change the music industry in a way that every day common people that discover they have a musical talent can self produce and get into the music business a lot easier than traditional means.

What jobs have you done other than being an artist?
Answer:

I have been a professional truck driver, a sergeant in the United States army, an armed security officer, a car salesman, an Amway distributor, a survival expert, movie actor, Discovery Channel cast member on a TV series called ultimate ninja challenge.

How have your other passions reinforced your process of making music?
Answer:

My other professions, give me great discipline. And sometimes good disciplines all you need to do to get the tasks done.

What is your overarching goal as an artist?
Answer:

Overreaching goal is to be able to support myself and my family, ultimately with my efforts and talents.

Do you have one main reason driving you to continue making music?
Answer:

I make music because it's fun, it's no more complicated than that. I'm having a blast.

What is the most significant lesson you've learned through being an artist?
Answer:

That the only one stopping you, is you. So don't let yourself stop and you can achieve anything you put your mind to.

Has being an artist made your life lonely? How do you counteract this?
Answer:

No, my life is perfectly balanced, and I have the people in it on a daily basis that I need and desire. Music for me is fun and I look forward to the journey.

How would you define having an artistic outlook on life?
Answer:

With an artist, I, especially a songwriter when I look out in the world I see little individual stories to tell. And those stories can be told through song. I've written about the lonely cowboy, two UAP's and UFOs flying through the sky in a mythical heaven.

What is your favorite work of art?
Answer:

I think everybody's favorite work of art should be the art of friendship. And staying true and genuine to it without letting yourself get walked on or taking advantage of. But if there was more of that form of artwork, the place we live in called earth would be better for it.

Which mediums of art do you most identify with?
Answer:

To me, Art is close to creation. Is the closest you can ever get to becoming like the master creator is through the expression of art. I like music, I like to draw, I like graphic art, I like, making videos I like being an actor, I like being in front of the camera.

Name three artists you’d like to be compared to.
Answer:

There's so many talented people out there I couldn't begin to tell you who I should compare myself to or be compared to. I don't even think I'm deserving of that because we're all unique.
