5Fortyproductions Perspective on WELCOME TO HELL

5Fortyproductions, (Shaun M. Butler) or, 5Fortypros as he is better known is a Nu-Metal/RapMetal/Hip-Hop Artist and Producer from Northern New Jersey. Butler (5FortyPros) aka Sharobbie_the_God, has been part of a number of different musical projects spanning over 2 decades. Now, as 5Fortypros, this singer/Songwriter has added Producer to his repertoire. Butler, had this to say about his artistic process, “I love everything about it. The writing, the recording, the producing, all of it. It’s a passion for me. I thought I was done as an artist. I thought I was going the, -having a family route-and that was that. So, when I got back in, it was ALL OR NOTHING. I had to put out the material I wanted, THATS IT. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE being in a band and still love ALL the guys I was lucky enough to share time, ideas, and the stage with. It’s like going to war and it’s you vs the world. That camaraderie is indescribable. This one’s just personal for me. The how I started it, the why I started it, and what I’m doing in it and with it. I’m an emotional person, too much so sometimes, and I have a lot to say that people can relate too, and I feel that, for the first time, the music I’m putting out is a real mirror into who I am now, and that feels really good to me because, that was always a goal of mine. To not put out music just to put out music, but to tell my story, and have people really feel and relate to it, ya know? I feel like I’m doing finally doing that.”

My background doesn't but my past does

This was written as a Nu-Metal song but it gets labeled alot by others as a Hip-Hop track. Hip-Hop has such a big influence on what i do and i do straight up Hip-Hop songs but this was meant to be Nu-Metal or Rap/Rock but honestly, I dont care what people say it is, as long as they listen and like it.

As of this date, this song, WELCOME TO HELL, would be my favorite i've released thus far because, i set out and hit everything i shot for as an artist with this one.

since i was a kid it was W. AXL ROSE and it still is today

The artist that has heard my work and wants to give someone in my position a chance to shine because they feel i deserve it and these songs should be heard

Just by being able to live off of writing, recording, and performing my music.

Depends. The distraction, the pied piper, the propagandist, the truth teller, the real deal. Depends on who youre asking and who youre asking about.

i have to, i feel empty without it. Its my way of getting everything out. Its my truth

Winning a grammy or having a top 10 or #1 song. So to answer that honestly, to be immortal through the music

The way new and upcoming artists can be heard and noticed. The streaming payouts

It makes me an overthinker in every part of life cause im always trying to see all sides. The how, what, where, and why of everything but, in regular life it causes me problems at times because ill start overthinking the simplest things and people get annoyed or i get labeled a problem.

That making it in the music industry isnt really about how talented you are, its about how and if your talent can make money for other people. if you can make them feel that if they invest in you, your talent might just generate them 100 times what they put into you then youre perfect, if not, your talent may never get the recognition it deserves.
