JJC Perspective on Gandola

I am Johnathan aka JJC. I write, record, and produce all my own music. I'm 100% independent and hope to make a mark on history with innovative art.

My earliest memory of listening to music is when my dad would play "Red & Blue Lights" by J. Stalin in our old Honda. I remember falling in love with that song and it being one of my earliest inspirations.

I've always wanted to do something with music growing up, I became fully invested into it while I was 16 years old.

I explore all sorts of themes especially with a lot of my unreleased work, I believe music is for self expression and being vulnerable so it can truly impact listeners.

I would go on tour with Kendrick Lamar, his performances never fail to amaze me.

GTA V Radio. Those late night drives just hit different.

"Sounds like early Tyler" Had me smiling all crazy, he's always been a huge influence on my music so hearing that made me feel like I'm doing something right.

By being me, every person is unique and has something to offer. So by being fully myself I can bring something new and different to the game.

Going through self doubt, it's like starting a wild fire. It'll eat away at everything if you let it.

Mac Miller because his music still puts a drive in me even beyond the grave.

My main reason is music itself. Everything from how it's performed to the history of it all intrigues me beyond anything else.
