How does your background play into this song?

Answer:

I got into making music earlier in 2024 after writing a bunch of poems and trying to figure out what to 'do with them.' For other songs, I used poems to create lyrics for verses, bridges, and choruses. This particular song comes from a poem I wrote recently. When I rapped it, I decided to keep it exactly as-is, just one long verse without a chorus. I felt like this approach fit for this particular poem.
