Who are you and what do you do?

I'm Nina Capone I'm a songwriter/performing artist specializing in hiphop and urban pop. I'm the founder of In Da Streets Radio and the host of the Respect The Hustle Podcast.

How does your background play into this song?

Answer:

Im from one of the roughest parts of Philadelphia it's literally a Sirens Theme all day and night.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?

Answer:

My mom is a professional vocalist my father managed nightclubs and hosted events both grandma and grandpa were musicians as well. So it's safe to say from birth.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?

Answer:

I've always been a performer as far back as I can remember. I toured with my mom so I never considered anything else. As if I was destined.

Answer:

Hip hop

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?

Answer:

More mature with storylines and the overall content of the song.

Answer:

I create characters and roles to connect the music through empathy

Lyrically soulful emotional and connecting. It has a true warmth that allows you to hear something that resonates with you through the vast diversity of style and cadence

Days like this because it connects me to real life instances that I seem to constantly relive things I'm never prepared for even when I try.
