Lui Fazo Perspective on Energy
My name is Rashi Bates, I'm 26 years old, and I'm known as LUI FAZO in the music industry. I am a songwriter, and Independent professional recording artist from Chicago. I enjoy collaborating with other artists from any genre, I believe it helps to increase an artists versatility.
Energy is a byproduct of my high energy. Anything energetic or action packed, I found myself involved in from Childhood to my current lifestyle. I enjoy a great amount of healthy competition and energy brings just that to every situation.
My earliest memory of listening to music would be with my father. He was a popular MC in Chicago throughout the 70s up until the late 90s hip-hop was at its peak. I remember frequently listening to old school makers such as Tupac, Biggie, and a few other well-known artists.
I was 20 years old in Okinawa Japan in the middle of serving a military contract when I would notice frequent artist performing in Japanese nightclubs. I thought to myself, "I could do this too". l so I'll begin creating music in order to showcase my skills in a foreign country, hoping to gain a supportive fan base of listeners that I could bring back home with me to Chicago .
This release falls into the alternative pop/Indie pop genre of music.
During my earlier years of music production, I began making beats, and from there I evolved into a recording artist and perfecting my crafts and beats. Over time I grew higher interest for lyrical compositions. Once I begin writing I noticed a skill set that I didn't believe I had at the time. I started practicing deeper into this and found that I could create radio ready music within hours. I started with Hip Hop & Drill music, which was popular for Chicago's fan base of listeners. From there, I begin making R&B songs to showcase my ability in vocal transitioning. And then gained an ear for alternative and indie music, which leads us to where we are today.

I enjoy being very versatile with my music and how I deliver it to my listeners. It can come in many forms and many genres. This allows me to fit into any category to deliver the music that people find enjoyable.
Lil Baby, He is an extremely versatile artist and amazing lyricist. His delivery and functionality over any beat and category of music makes him and his style very unique.

Xxxtentacion - His narrative and character development throughout his time here was an inspiration to not only me, but millions of listeners throughout the globe.
Energy – Energy is my favorite because it shows a major piece of my character, energy is everything. Its all around us physically, and metaphorically speaking.
Lil Baby, Kendrick Lamar, & Drake - these three artists have unique forms of delivery in their music there wordplay and sheer determination to their craft is what led them to be as successful as they are today.
My dream performance consist of choreographed dancing, background dancers & entertainment, and interactive crowd engagement items ( Large inflatable balls, merchandise pass outs, paints and colors )
