At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

I sang my 1st solo in church at 7 years old and recieved a standing ovation. I believe IT chose ME then.

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

I try not to limit the themes I address. I have experienced everything from: life threatening events and racial injustice to heart break and spiritual enlightenment. I believe that an artist is a direct representation of who they are personally. Their art is just a lense  that their persepective flows through. The more themes i can address, the more unique my art will be.

Answer:

I believe it's the most misunderstood outlook because it comes from a place of deep emotion, truth and vulnerability that contrasts the worlds eye view. That's why business acumen is also necessary!

Answer:

I'm a man of God/businessman/singer/songwriter/musician from NOLA. Grew up singing in church. I landed in ATX for four years by way of Hurricane Katrina. Since returning back to New Orleans, I've; sang for and with Usher, made it to American Idol's top 100 during ABC's Season 2 of Hollywood week, opened for JODECI, Miguel, and T.I, etc. My musical style garners inspiration from: Jamie Foxx, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, and Donny Hathaway

What made you write this song?
Answer:

Vulnerability led me to speak from a place we all know well. The feeling of losing someone you love and knowing in your heart that it's over.

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

Hurricane Katrina was my 1st heartbreak. I used the element of being under water to portray the feeling of losing love to the point of feeling breathless.
