Answer:

After working in the vibrant New York City nightlife industry for years and cultivating a wealth of inspiration from his travels and live music experiences abroad, his own electronic music journey evolved into music production during the pandemic. Since then, he has continued to pursue this passion while further refining his signature style; creating an eclectic soundscape that seamlessly blends diverse cultural influences, melodic, groovy vibes, and lush rhythms.

What is your earliest memory of listening to music?

Answer:

Immersed in classic Motown, Hip-hop and R&B, La’Dell continues to be inspired by those early childhood memories that initially sparked his passion for music.

Do you have one main reason driving you to continue making music?

Answer:

I love it and can get lost in creating for days, it will be my life's work. I make music for the love of music and nothing else.

If you could alter the music industry in any way, what would you change and why?

Answer:

1) Helping talented undiscovered artists get an opportunity to be heard and play their dream gigs, 2) Better streaming royalties, 3) Guard rails on the use of AI in music
