jj Perspective on YOU

I'm jj! I'm 15 years old, and I make music on my bed.

I was really stressed the day I made it, and I wanted to put what my brain felt like into the last half of the song. 'YOU' really sounds like how my brain works when it's stressed, it goes from chill, but still very active, to crraaazyyy. Haha

I heard "Irraplaceable" by Beyoncé on the radio in my dad's car lol.

FOR SURE when I saw the "Homecoming" documentary by Beyoncé for the first time when I was 11, but the craving to perform, and create had always been there, but that film really just tapped me on the shoulder and was like 'get up!'.

Anything! I would say 'YOU' is kind of her own genre, but my next release is definitely on the indie side.
