What is your earliest memory of listening to music?
Answer:

On a little CD player when only the radio was around back in in the early 2000's and you could only listen to music through the radio, a CD or on ITunes for $0.99.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

When I was about 16, I took drum lessons at an academy where we would play cover gigs from bands like Blink-182 and Fall Out Boy. After getting off that stage for the first time with the nervousness prior and the sense of accomplishment afterwards, I decided that day I wanted to be a performer for sure.

Who are you and what do you do?
Answer:

We are Walking Down Main. A Post-Hardcore/Metalcore band based out of Detroit, Mi. We strive to create the hardest hitting, nostalgic bangers from what we call "The Golden Era" of Metalcore from the early 2000's with a modern spin on it and with no rules in how we do it other than striving to be great and make a significant impact doing so.

What genres does this release play into?
Answer:

Rock, Metalcore, Post-Hardcore, Nu-Metalcore, Metal

How has your sound and style evolved in the last 3 years?
Answer:

"Eye of the Storm" has a new polished sound from our EP "Watch You Drown" which was released in October, 2023. We wanted to keep the same style but introduce other elements like melodic choruses, more post production and electronics, which are also more up front on this one. The choruses are melodic and the breakdowns are heavy. This is also our first song writing with a 7 string guitar.

What is your favorite song you have made, and why?
Answer:

We love everything we've ever done and it varies from member to member, and also depends on the day, but most of us in WDM can agree that our top 3 to play live right now are Here We Come, There They Go, Barfight to a Soundtrack and Golden Tongues.
