davidbeloved Perspective on Be Still

My name is davidbeloved. I am a singer/rapper, songwriter, and producer/engineer. I was incarcerated for 11 and 1/2 years and since being released from incarceration in 2020, I have been cultivating the gift God placed inside of me to reach the hearts of the broken. My message is that, "Tho all hope seems to be lost, if you are still breathing, there is still a chance!"

When I was younger, I went thru a lot of abuse mentally and physically. My dad and I didn't get along. I was rebellious and he took a lot of his frustration and anger out on me. However, during my prison experience, I came to be able to forgive my father and we became like best friends.

I have been listening to music since I was a boy. My dad played drums for a garage band. So, music has been in the family, at least since my dad.

At age 15 I really desired to become an artist. At 24 is when I started putting in the work to do so.
