Bro. Fred Perspective on Trust in the Father

I live in Springfield Massachusetts, and I am an emerging Gospel/Praise and Worship Artist.

I started my musical journey on piano at age 10 in Swindon, England. Upon entering the U.S. (Bronx, New York), I learned alto and baritone saxophone in Junior High School. In High school I joined the school band and continued playing the alto saxophone, and private piano lessons. In Undergrad college I studied piano and voice and discovered my passion for songwriting after serving in several church choirs and Gospel groups. Throughout my journey in life I've made many mistakes, and ultimately learned that I could trust God for help, protection, and guidance.

I remember when I was eight years old and my parents bought me a transistor radio for christmas. I would stay up many nights until the batteries ran out, listening to classical music.

I was in the South Bronx Job Corps when I was featured in a talent show. I sang "All I See" by Cristopher Williams and was shocked at the audiences positive response. Since that day, I dreamed of becomming a singer.

This is definately a contemporary gospel song, with a sort of hip hop vibe beat.

After listening to great artists like Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, and Tye Tribbett, I kind of adopted the contemporary style and added my own unique flavor.

I love to listen to all sorts of music. Especially if it has a positive message; since I'm a happy person that shares good vibes and energy. I enjoy 80's and 90's hip hop and rnb, some jazz, some trap instrumentals, and especially contemporary and traditional gospel music and praise and worship.

Kirk Franklin. His energy is contagious, he's inspiring, he's innovative and seems like he would just be fun to be around. Plus, I think I would learn a lot from his experience.

My favorite artist's music is mind blowing, soul stirring, and uplifting. It is also positive; message, and vibes.

My music is definately sobering, yet exciting and uplifting. It's a unique blend of hip hop, gospel, and it's message is sobering, yet it makes you feel good.

I would like to see Tye Tribbett, because he's so lively. His musical arrangements are unique, like his voice. His sound is innovative, and he jams on almost every song.

My favorite song that I've made so far is called "Key to my heart." It hasn't been released yet, but has been recorded, and is in the process of being mixed and mastered. This song is special to me because it is a love song to God. I wrote it during a low point in my life, when I had realized the truth that God loves me, in spite of me.

Tye Tribbett, Fred Hammond, and Kirk Franklin, and on repeat all day, LOL. I picked them for their wide range of musical arrangements and they are always surprising me with their crafty lyrics and approach to contemporary gospel music.

My dream performance will be on any stage with Tye Tribbett, Fred Hammond, and Kirk Franklin on tour.

I would have to choose Kirk Franklin, because of his versatility in his writing.

I ultimately want people to feel the love of God through the Holy Spirit.

Definately through a live performance, monly because it's more intimate, and I can connect with people more strongly.

He loves Jesus.

Yes, I practice daily. If I'm not singing, I'm playing the piano, or usually both.

That would have to be when I sang at my Bible college graduation. The anointing of God was so strong when I sang "His eye is on the sparrow", that I was asked to sing it again.

By becomming more consistent over time, and putting out my best music that ushers the Spirit of God in each song.

Success to me would be making an impact on the world for Christ.

An artist is a therapist, a healer, a motivator, a teacher and much more.
