Life Renewed Perspective on Disconnect Reconnect

Vision Revision

Im Robert Volkoff, I am a solo project that writes, records and mixes. Life Renewed has always been a vehicle to connect with fans and collaborate

This song is part of a concept Ep that tell the journey of a person who Who has reached Rockbottom in their life and is going through some retrospection and self discovery to find out where they are they meant to go and what their future holds

I've always been a fan of music as young as I can remember from listening to classical while doing my studies being homeschooled or enjoying theme songs from TV shows, but specifically to the genre of rock and metal that I am a part of my first memory is my father Playing Korn Secretly and his workshop and me going to his workshop and sitting down and listening to the "Life is peachy" Record

I found a nylon string guitar in my attic and started playing around with it and trying to figure out classical pieces of music and it's been a journey ever since

The most common term would be Metalcore, but if you are a fan of rock and metal as a whole, you may find parts of this that you may enjoy
Some specific influences are bands like forevermore, Phinehas, Killswitch Engage, Silent planet & invent animate

I have focused more on composing and songwriting, then writing songs that show off any Technical prowess

Positive messages, Faith, self reflection, and introspection

demon Hunter or Phinehas, their music & message has been impactful for my life

It is a genre known as metal core but if you have never heard of metal, I would combine iron maiden and Metallica with some Harsh vocals

It is an overall blend of rock and metal and metal core blending different styles and personal taste in that genre

Strapping on the lad at least once and Phinehas any day of the week

A song called vision revision from life renewed is very special to me and has a lot of personal sentimental value
My current collaboration with solo artist, Mindy Jackson with her one breath away is one of my crowning achievements

Phinehas, Thousand Foot Krutch, breaking Benjamin

An arena or stadium tour with my favorite bands

Vocalist of Phinehas, thousand foot Krutch or demon hunter

Church or a restaurant

Just to give it an honest chance, even if you like one section of a song or lyric or instrumentation section

Passionate, transparent, driven

Facebook is the main area where I promote and share my music and stories

I don't practice as much I like to play at least one day a week to keep my hands capable of playing guitar

Seeing the overwhelming amount of people who were brought the tears to my current collaboration with Mindy Jackson was very heartfelt
Many years ago in my first gigging project, I wrote lyrics in my EP that impacted people and gave people motivation

Follow with your heart says and do what no one else will do even if no one supports you

Doing my very best to write quality instrumentations, but focus more on the message to connect with people and let my words and lyrics be a form of motivation and inspiration

I believe the value of art has Decreased but art is very essential to life

Remember this by NF

Nearly going bankrupt putting all of my money time and work into building a project

Performing poorly on a stage for a large crowd

Put a lot more emphasis on independent and rising artist, instead of continually feeding, establish and legacy acts
Promoting Music and exposure is crucial for artists to breakthrough and have a fair chance of having someone listen to their music before it's too late and you never know when you write a song that might make it impact

I have been a full-time construction and tradesmen

They have told me the value of hard work and being able to provide for myself and make music and not rely on pursuing something that would lead to me being unhappy and not having control of my art, relying on a label to fund my music and put me in debt

my social life and personal ventures is not understood by many so losing friendships not having deep connections with people and spending every waking moment that's not dedicated to my day job to enhancing my career has made it to where I don't have hobbies or lots of friends
Making sure that I take care of my mental health and my physical health and still prioritize my music as much as I can

Spending a lot of my time, investing in educating myself and continually connecting and collaborating, even in conversation with fellow artists

Classical music by composers

Anything music related spoken word, and poetry

Phinehas, NF, Killswitch Engage

Never give up on yourself and music no matter how much you lose how normal believes you or it feels like giving up is the only way to go

Mental health and therapy for myself and others for relatability

It would be an absolute dream to be able to have my music be self-sufficient so I wouldn't have to work 80 to 100 hours to be able to fund my musical dreams and take care of my personal life and be able to dedicate more time to creating and perfecting my craft
Connecting with as many people on a personal level through the music, I released to the world and collaborating with as many people as possible
