I'm just a Muslim that makes slaps...

How does your background play into this song?
Answer:

So many people waste time and don't have their priorities straight, I had to say how I see things.

At what moment in your life did you decide to become an artist / performer?
Answer:

At around 15 I bought an MPC 2000 off of Craigslist and never looked back.

What themes do you explore throughout your music?
Answer:

Smiles and cries. Adversity and triumph. Having parties to celebrate life and maneuvering out of the trenches. 

Do you have a distinct way of making music, how do you work?
Answer:

I make it all off of my phone. That's it. Nothing else. Fruity Loops Mobile.

Walk us through your music creation process, specifically for this song.
Answer:

I got high and reminisced. 

Do you prefer working alone or collaborating with others? How does this influence your sound?
Answer:

It depends on how I hear what I hear in my mind...

Do you have any particular methods that help you flush out your creativity while making music?
Answer:

Drugs.

Which aspect of the writing, production and release process do you enjoy the most?
Answer:

I enjoy the writing because it is the most profound art and not many have an extensive vocabulary like me and don't simply let the beat do all the work.

What was the biggest drawback when producing this track?
Answer:

The microphone on the phone didn't sound how I Heard it in My mind and couldn't find an appropriate filter for a while.

Answer:

Just a day or two ago...

If you could choose one of your songs to go viral, which one would it be and why?
Answer:

iLUV. Because I can see the video for it in my mind very vividly... 

What drives you to continue writing music?
Answer:

It's therapeutic.

Answer:

Time and how precious it is...

What goal were you trying to achieve while creating this song?
Answer:

I wanted people to wake up and realize that they are more in control of their destiny then they tend to realize... Although we may not control it completely we can influence it.

What characteristics of your identity do you most commonly include in your music?
Answer:

Wit, humor, experience and intelligence. 

In your opinion, what is the most difficult part of writing a new song?
Answer:

The bridge is always difficult because you don't know how somebody's ears are going to hear the changes from when has already been going on for so long.

Would you consider your music an accurate reflection of who you are?
Answer:

Absolutely. I try to make every song and accurate depiction of either myself or my mentality.

When you get stuck, where do you look for inspiration?
Answer:

Still silence.

Answer:

Lyrics.

Answer:

Parties because everyone loves that feeling of a party and wishes it would never end subconsciously.
